Christians at Uni
Christians at Uni are believers in Christ from various backgrounds. We love the Lord Jesus Christ and endeavour to give Him "the first place in all things" (Col. 1:18). Our desire is to cooperate with Him for the accomplishment of God's eternal purpose (Eph. 3:11) by ministering the unsearchable riches of Christ (Eph. 3:18) for the building up of the Body of Christ (Eph. 4:12.
Christians at Uni warmly receive all believers in Christ and seek to maintain the oneness of the Spirit by keeping our focus on Christ. He is so rich! He is so full! He is everything to us, and we enjoy Him.
Christians at Uni is a student organisation at the University of Cambridge. We hold the faith which is common to all believers. Through daily prayer, Bible reading, and Christian fellowship we are growing "in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and unto the day of eternity. Amen" (2 Pet. 18).
What we do
We meet for dinner, singing and Bible study every week during the term on Fridays at 6.30pm in Robinson J8, as well as other times during the week. The best way to keep updated with what's going on is to get on the weekly email newsletter and/or the WhatsApp group. For more information see cambridge.christianstudents.org.uk/contact
What we believe
We hold to the faith common to all believers, namely that:
- The Bible is the Word of God, written under His inspiration word by word (2 Tim. 3:16), and is the complete and only written divine revelation of God to man;
- There is one God (Deut. 6:4; 1 Cor. 8:4b; Isa. 45:5a), who is triune-the Father, the Son, and the Spirit.
- Christ, the only begotten Son of God, even God Himself, became a genuine man through incarnation, having both the divine and human natures.
