St Edmund's College Welfare Grid

Of respondents to the CUSU Big Cambridge Survey 2015, 97.53% of the 33 students who said that they had accessed support from their tutors reported that it was excellent. Students at St Edmund’s can easily access policies on harassment. There is a Fitness to Study policy. The Students’ Union Advice Service website is not linked to clearly from their College website. Students have access to a College Nurse who also provides mental health support. Student-facing staff receive training in Mental Health Awareness and Equality and Diversity whilst College Porters do not receive unconscious bias training. 

Students who do not receive government grants can still get financial support from the college.  

If a student wishes to intermit they will keep in contact with their tutor who will provide support for re-entering study. Intermitting students continue to have access to College intranet and at the discretion of the Senior Tutor can have access to College Facilities.
