It's Week 2 and the bulletin is packed this week with events and opportunities from a wide range of groups and societies - well worth scrolling all the way down!
CUSU had a very busy week 1! We hosted Julian Huppert and Cambridge Constabulary for two separate open meetings, the Shadowing Scheme has kicked off with a bang and we've been preparing to reform CUSU Council to make it better for you, starting tomorrow...
Council will be meeting at 7pm tomorrow starting with teas and coffees and possibly pizza too. Please note the venue change to the Cormack Room in the University Centre on Mill Lane, where we'll have more space, seating and an all round nicer venue. Motions being discussed include publicising medical records, a motion from our Ethical Affairs team to go to the National Union of Students annual conference and all new elections rules for this year.
Nominations for CUSU sabbatical positions open on Monday 17th February. Keep an eye out for our Shadow a Sabb day, which we'll be offering to anyone thinking about running in the election. If you want to hear more info, tune into the CUSU radio show on Cam FM at 6pm on Tuesday evening.
This week we're running some open meetings with MPhil students to hear about how you think the University can better support you and improve your educational experience. They'll be on Tuesday and Wednesday - see below for more details.
Finally, keep an eye out for the CUSU Annual Survey, launching this week! It's a great opportunity for you to give wide ranging feedback about your university and educational experience in Cambridge. There might be some prizes involved too..
Have an excellent week and do look out for Shadowing Scheme attendees around the city over the next two weeks!
