On behalf of the CUSU Board of Trustees, I am sad to announce that our Chief Executive will be leaving CUSU at the beginning of January. He is leaving to take up a fantastic opportunity at another Students’ Union.
Mark has worked at CUSU for over 7 years and has been integral to the growth and success of the union. In that time CUSU has grown in terms of space, capacity and stability. He has helped secure stable financing for the Union, enhanced CUSU’s credibility within the institution and supported over 40 officers in achieving change for students at Cambridge.
We are sad to see him leave, but know that he will be a fantastic addition to his new team and wish him every success in this new endeavour. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mark for all that he has done for CUSU over the years, his passion, enthusiasm and incredible dedication to the union and its members will be sorely missed.
We have begun recruitment for our next Chief Executive, our priority at this point is ensuring we appoint the best possible candidate who will help CUSU to continue to grow. During any potential period of absence of a Chief Executive, we will have provisions in place to ensure the smooth running of CUSU and its services are not affected.
CUSU President and Chair of the Trustee Board
